Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things August release countdown! Today I have a couple of cards to share that feature the new robots from the Bionic Bots stamp set. I love these robot images and the awesome sentiments that go with it.
These robots would be awesome for boy themed cards but I decided to make my cards both love themed. For my first card I coloured in the robot with cool gray Copic markers and then adhered him onto a vellum and white cardstock circle that I diecut using the new Double Stitched Circle STAX die-namics. Before I added the vellum to the circle, I used the new Wonky Chevron stencil and added some pink ink to the background.
Once I had the circle and robot done, I adhered it onto a white cardstock panel cut with a stitched rectangle that I had added some light Summer Splash ink to and then I added the entire thing to a Grout Gray card base.
I stamped the sentiment onto a black strip of cardstock with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it. I cut the end at an angle and tucked it in behind the robot when I adhered it to the card. I completed the card with clear sequins and silver stickles.
For my second card, I stamped and coloured two robots, one with cool gray and one with purple grayish Copic markers. I coloured in both of their hearts with red and then cut then both out.
I cut out a heart from a white cardstock panel using the Heart STAX die-namics and tucked both of the robots behind it so it looks like they're in the heart.
