MFT October Release Countdown | Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. All of the awesome products we've shared this week will officially be available at 10pm tonight! Yay!

For my card today I'm used the new Snowflake Flurry stamp set and the Joyous Christmas Sentiments stamp set to create an embossed, one layer card.

I stamped my snowflake designs all over a white cardstock panel with Versamark ink and then I added various types of silver embossing powder to all of them. I used sparkle, fine detail and platinum for a uniform look with a bit of variation.

I made sure to position my sentiment onto the card front where I wanted it so I could stamp the snowflakes around it and leave the area blank for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

To finish the card I mounted the stamped panel onto a black cardstock mat and then adhered the entire thing to a white top-folding note card.

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 1 of the MFT October Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website tonight 10pm EST!
