MFT October Release Countdown | Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown! Today's post has a fun assortment of cards featuring more of the awesome October release! ;)

For my first card I used the Streetlights die-namics with the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set to create a simple card featuring a bit of watercolour.

I created the background with grey Peerless watercolours. Once it was dry I added the Streetlight diecut from black cardstock and the holly from the Santa's Elves stamps set. I completed the card with the sentiment stamped in black and some snowflakes stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

For my second card I used the new Cool Cup die-namics and Stay Cool stamps set to create a fun card with bubble tea. I love how realistic the cup die looks! ;)

I created bubble tea  for my card by diecutting the cup and colouring the mint colour with Copic markers. I then added the tapioca balls with a black marker and then layered vellum over the entire cup to mute it down a bit and make it look like an actual drink. To complete the card I layered it onto a grey piece of chevron patterned paper and stamped the sentiment beside it.

For my third card I used the new Merry Centerpieces die to create a fun shaker card! I diecut the word circle from white cardstock and then added ink to it with an ink blending tool to create an ombre look.

I layered a piece of vellum behind the word diecut and then created a shaker card with clear and silver sequins. I layered the finished shaker panel onto dark grey cardstock and added a silver embossed snowflake to the center.
