Hello! The Beautiful Blooms kit is now available in the MFT online store here and I have one more card to share that I created with it!
This is the first card kit that MFT has released and it includes everything you need to make a ton of beautiful cards including a stamp set, coordinating die-namics, patterned paper, ink, cardstock and sequins. And the best part... everything is perfectly coordinated together so all you have to do is create!
To create my card, I first stamped a bunch of the stems and leaves onto white cardstock with the green and blue inks that come in the kit. I then diecut them with the coordinating dies and arranged them into a bouquet on a white cardstock panel.
Once I had them how I wanted them, I lifted them off with repositional tape (to hold them all together), trimmed off the bottom of the stems, added liquid glue to the backs of them and adhered them down onto the panel.
Once I had the stems positioned, I diecut a vase from kraft cardstock and then I stamped the sentiment in two parts. I first stamped it on the white cardstock panel and then I laid the vase over top exactly where I wanted it and stamped the sentiment again making sure to line it up with the one on the cardstock panel. To avoid getting ink on either side of the vase, I put a scrap piece of vellum underneath so I could still see the sentiment stamped underneath.
I adhered the vase with foam adhesive and then I added the completed panel to a blue patterned paper mat and then to a kraft top-folding card base. I also scattered on some sequins for some added dimension.
Thanks so much for joining me for the card kit announcement and reveal! Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for more inspiration from the creative team. I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the January kit! ;)
