Hello! Today I'm taking part in a video blog hop to help celebrate my friend Kari's Youtube subscribers reaching 2000! I love participating in these fun hops that celebrate and encourage fellow crafters! And Kari is one of the sweetest, kindest and supportive people that I know! And she's makeup obsessed like me lol! ;)
Kari asked that we all make thank you cards for the hop so I used my very neglected Fintastic Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn and made a fun little fish aquarium thank you card.
I stamped the fish tank and all of the coordinating pieces (fish, grass and food) on white cardstock, coloured them in with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I cut an opening from a second piece of cardstock and also cut on opening from the center of the tank so I could create a shaker card.
I added acetate to the back of the tank piece and then covered the whole back with foam adhesive. I filled the open area with the fish, sequins and seed beads and then I adhered a panel onto the back that I had coloured with the same aqua colour that I used for the water on the tank.
I completed the card by stamping on the sentiment and adding the fish jumping from the tank, the food and then piece of grass on the outside. I also added some sequins and adhered the finished panel onto a Grout Gray top-folding card base.
To see how I created the video you can watch the video below which is part of the video hop:
