Hello! The Warm & Fuzzy Friends card kit is now available in the MFT online store and I have one more card to share that I created with it! This fun, outdoor themed kit includes everything you need to make a ton of cards including a stamp set, coordinating die-namics, patterned paper, ink, cardstock, 2 adhesive backed wood sheets, Peerless watercolours and watercolor paper.
For my card tonight I wanted to use the porcupine image (or hedgehog according to my son lol!) as the focal point on my card but keep the rest of the design pretty simple.
I stamped the porcupine onto Smooth White cardstock with the Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, coloured him in with Copic markers and then I diecut him with the coordinating die. I also cut out a strip of one of the green patterned papers from the paper pad in the cut and adding a grassy edge to it using the Grassy Hills die-namics.
I adhered the grass piece onto the right hand side of a white cardstock panel and then I adhered the porcupine directly on top with foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment in black ink underneath the porcupine and grass.
I decided the card needed a little pop of colour so I added a strip of the striped diagonal patterned paper to the left hand side of the cardstock panel and then adhered the entire piece to a top-folding card base. I completed the card by adding some hearts that I diecut from the wood veneer paper that comes in the kit.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Don't forget to head over to the MFT blog for all of the details on this fun new kit and to see more samples from the creative team! ;)
