Hello! Today I have an Easter themed card to share using the Hoppy Easter stamp set from Right at Home stamps. I love this fun and whimsical stamp set and since Easter is coming up I thought it would be fun to create a garden scene with the cute bunnies.
To create my card, I first masked off the bottom area of the cardstock panel and thenn I stamped my carrots so I would only have the top half of the images. Once I was done the stamping, I peeled off the mask and added colour to the ground to make it look like a garden of dirt.
I stamped my bunnies and a butterfly in the sky and then coloured everything in with Copic markers. Once I had the colouring done, I added some light blue ink to the sky area with an ink blending tool and then I diecut my panel with a stitched rectangle die.
I stamped my sentiment with black ink onto a stitched fishtail banner die and adhered it to the top left area of the panel. I then adhered the stamped panel to a white scallop edge cardstock piece and then added the entire panel to a grey top-folding card base.
I completed the card by adding a scattering of clear sequins (with silver stickles in the center) and then I adhered a piece of grass onto the bottom over the dirt. I ended up liking it a lot better with the grass piece over top.
You can see how I created my card in the video below:
Nicole at Right at Home stamps is super sweet and she said I could giveaway a Hoppy Easter stamp to one of my readers! Just leave a comment on this post by Thursday March 24th and I'll pick a random winner.
Thanks for stopping by!
