MFT June Release Countdown | Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things June release countdown! The new release is almost here and today I have one more card to share before the release party tonight!

For today's card I used the new Grateful for You die (it comes with the Grateful for You stamp set) along with the the Striped Sentiment Strip Cover-Up and the Funky Flowers stamp set and coordinating dies to create a pretty feminine card with a little bit of sparkle. ;)

I stamped the leaves and flower onto white cardstock and then I heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I then coloured them in with my Zig Clean Color markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I added some Cracked Pistachio distress ink to the top left corner and the right bottom corner of the cover-up and then I tucked the leaves under the strips in the panel and secured them in place with adhesive.

I adhered the flower with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension and then I diecut the word grateful from black and silver sparkle cardstock and adhered it on the widest strip on the panel. Once I had everything glued on, I adhered the whole panel to a Grout gray card base and added some clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by for Day 1 of the My Favorite Things June release countdown. The new release will officially be available on the MFT website tonight at 10pm est!

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the creative team created for this months release! ;)

See you tonight for the release party!
