Hello! Today I have a fun card to share that I created with products from My Favorite Things along with Chibi Tronics Chibi Lights! These lights are a super fun way to add a light up element to a card design with a circuit and a tiny light hidden within the card design.
For my card I created a birthday themed card with candles that glow when you press on the sentiment area of the card.
I stamped and diecut my candles and flames and then I figured out where the center flame would be so I could add a hole to the cardstock for the light to shine through. I cut a square hole and you can kind of see it through the heart in the flame, so I know for next time to try and make sure the hole isn't as obvious. ;)
I stamped the background of the main panel with the Distressed Patterns stamp set and Limelight ink and then I adhered my candles over top. I stamped the sentiment under the candles with black ink, and then I created my Chibi Light circuit on the white cardstock panel underneath.
It's hard to pick up in the photo, but when I press down on the sentiment area of the card, the middle candle flame lights up. Such a fun and unexpected way to add something fun to a card design, Especially a birthday card with candles! ;)
I can't wait to create more light up cards with Chibi Lights!
