MFT October Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. For the next 5 days, we're counting down to the October release, sharing cards and ideas using the new products.

For my card today I used the new Merry Everything stamp set and coordinating die-namics along with the new Snowfall - Horizontal Die-namics to create a fun holiday card.
I die cut two white cardstock panels with the Blueprints 13 die-namics and used one to die cut the snow hills with the Stitched Snowdrifts Die-namics and used the second one for the sky in the scene. I added Peacock Feathers distress ink to the entire panel and added some water on top for a distressed look.

I then used the new Snowfall - Horizontal die-namics and die cut the panel for a snowy effect. I added a white cardstock panel, cut slightly smaller, behind the die cut piece and adhered the panel to a red card base.
I stamped, coloured and die cut the three reindeer from the Merry Everything stamp set and adhered them to the scene on the card. I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice dye ink on either side of the middle reindeer and then I added some shading under his feet with a grey Copic marker.

Thanks so much for joining me for day 5 of the October release countdown. All of the new products that we're sharing all week will officially be available in the MFT online store at 10pm EST on October 4, 2016.

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for more ideas from the creative team and giveaways! ;)
